Commercial Fire in Benton, IL

A fire broke out in a Benton, IL business damaging part of the structure as well as taking on water from the fire department putting out the fire.  The business was in a total mess, from blackened walls, floors and ceiling and a layer of water that was more of a sludge from the debris on the floor. 

SERVPRO of Jefferson, Franklin and Perry Counties was the first call the owner made after the fire. Working closely with a Commercial Insurance Adjuster we scanned the building creating a full three-dimensional walk-thru to create a fully interactive layout of the structure.  From there the team started in and worked to firstly dry out the structure and began to work on demolition. Setting equipment was essential to begin removing the smoke and soot damage to the structure as well as full cleaning on walls and ceiling where smoke damage wasn’t as heavy. 

Once the structure was complete and smoke odors were removed, our construction division took over, working hand in hand with the business owner making the fixes necessary to make the building like new again and ready for business.
